About Mortgages For Less
Mortgages For Less is an Alberta-based full-service mortgage brokerage. We started as CENTUM Mortgage Lending Centre in 2006 and in 2011 became Mortgages for Less. We are a group of fewer than five brokers who know the ins-and-outs of the mortgage world to best serve you.
We have developed our brand over the last six years and pride ourselves in not only getting clients a great mortgage rate but also great service. We are licensed in Alberta and service the Calgary area primarily and surrounding area including Airdrie, Cochrane, Chestermere, Strathmore, and Okotoks.
While we are primarily an online brokerage, we are more than happy to meet with our clients. We find most of our clients love the flexibility of communicating online and by phone. When needed, we are more than happy to meet with our clients in person. We normally work a normal work week, but regularly work with clients in the evenings and weekends.
With more than ten years in business, our business is in a mature state. However, we are growth driven and hope to help more and more Calgarians enjoy the mortgage experience that we offer.
Spring time is when most real estate trades hands, so by extension, we are busiest in those same months. However, aside from a seasonal slowdown around Christmas, we keep pretty steady most of the year.

In addition, compared to working with the banks directly, we offer better service irrespective of the time of the day, as well as provide more lending options. Not every bank’s suite of options will suit every prospective buyer. Hence, we are proud to offer a wide variety of options that work for almost any client that calls.
Our vision for the immediate future is to double the size of the business in the next two years. We hope to do this by improving our market reach so that we’re better able to help those customers who will best be served by working with us.
Apart from helping clients with the ins-and-outs of the mortgage world, we work closely with Cultiva International. It is a non-profit organisation bringing nutrition and gardening education to the poorest families in Guatemala as well as working to empower families over generations.
